A celebration of Bollywood’s Dancing Divas comes to stage this March

Epic Entertainment presents Nateshwar Dance Academy in “Dancing Divas of Indian Cinema” with partners Tempest Media, Black Coffee & Magic Lighting. Experience the beauty, grace, and power of Indian cinema’s Dancing Divas at the iZulu Theatre, Sibaya on Saturday, 2nd March 2019 at 3 PM and 7 PM & Sunday, 3rd March 2019 at 3 PM.


Since its inception, Indian Cinema has made song and dance a major part of its storytelling. This age-old tradition in cinema positioned India in a league of its own when it came to the presentation of films. Over the years, Indian cinema was graced by a plethora of graceful women who performed from their souls and danced with their hearts. While many celebrate the iconic actor’s of Indian cinema, this showcase pays tribute to the women in cinema.

This tribute to the soulful diva’s of the golden era – Madhubala, Meena Kumari & Vyjayanthimala and a celebration of the dream girl Hema Malini, Asha Parekh, the timeless Waheeda Rehman and the Umrao of Bollywood Rekha, the late Sridevi, the Dhak-dhak girl Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the talented superstar of today, Deepika Padukone.

Dancers of the prestigious Nateshwar Dance Academy, established in 1980 are set to perform to the evergreen and contemporary hits of Indian cinema’s divas while showcasing a variety of dance styles including Bollywood, Kathak, contemporary, freestyle and Folk dances of India. Support local talent and empower our youth to shine as they present the dazzling “Dancing Divas of Indian Cinema”.
This show is crafted to entertain patrons of all ages with the colours, dreams, drama, dance, music and soul of Indian cinema.
